Healthy, Meatless Options For Lent

Looking for no-meat options this Lent? We’ve got you covered with plenty of healthy choices. Check out some of our wholesome dishes to keep you sustained this Lenten Season.

Super Salad - A salad mix of fresh cabbage, purple cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots, topped with locally-farmed alfalfa sprouts, white cheddar cheese, avocado, and balsamic vinaigrette. Served with crackers.

Although we pride ourselves on offering many vegetarian meals year-round through our Lunch Counter, a couple of our most popular options for the Lenten season are the Super Salad and the Cheese and Sprouts Sandwich. The Super Salad is a veggie lover's delight! We craft the Super Salad with 5 different vegetables including Covington-grown Sam Sprouts alfalfa sprouts. The Cheese and Sprouts Sandwich is also made with Sam Sprouts, melted cheddar cheese and wholesome Food for Life Ezekiel Bread.
